Nearly 1,000 jet charter flights introduced by Air China during May Day holiday

BEIJING, CHINA---In a sensational demonstration of its interest in becoming a major player in the elite jet charter flight services market, Air China announced it will provide nearly 160,000 addition seats via the introduction of some 992 extra private charter flights during the seven-day Labor Day holiday.
While domestic air charter flights will cover cities such as Hangzhou, Qingdao, Yantai, Haikou, Sanya and Guilin, the International charters will mainly be focused on routes to the Maldives, Singapore, Phuket in Thailand, and Pinang in Malaysia.
Flights to Lhasa and Jiuzhaigou will also be popular charter courses during the holiday, experts are predicting.
