An airplane with an external propeller that is driven by a turbojet engine is known as a turboprop airplane. Turbo jet engine is a jet engine in which a turbine drives air to the burner. There are umpteen number of turbo prop airliners in use around the globe. Some important and commonly used turboprop aircrafts are:
King Air 100: King air 100 is a twin turboprop corporate, passenger & utility transport aircraft with a maximum cruising speed of 277mph. King air 100 can accommodate executive configuration, seating up to eight passengers in a pressurized cabin and a flight crew of one or two.

Brasillia – 30 pax: Brasillia is a twin turboprop commuter aircraft with a maximum speed of 330 mph and a maximum cruising speed of 275 mph. Brasillia has accommodation for 30 passengers and a flight crew of two.

Gulfstream I-24 pax: Gulfstream is a twin turbo prop commuter, passenger & utility transport airplane. It has a maximum speed of 300 mph and a maximum cruising speed of 275 mph with a 25,000 ft ceiling. Gulfstream comes with the seating capacity of 24 passengers and a flight crew of two.
