Private Charter from Australia to New Guinea

Through Trans Niugini Tours in conjunction with Reefwatch Air Tours, a group of, up' to five travelers can charter a private Aero Commander aircraft to transport them from Cairns, Australia, to Papua New Guinea, where locally chartered aircraft will fly them to three different locations.

Departure and arrival times as well as activities on the. 6-day/7-night bird-watching and sightseeing safaris' are tailored to the guests' preferences. Village visits and cultural activities are available.

Accommodations are at Malolo Plantation Lodge in the north, Karawari Lodge in the Sepik River region (including sago making at Kundiman village) and Ambua Lodge in the Ambua area (home of the Hul wigmen).

Charters originate from and return to Cairns. Prices range from Aus $6,554 to Aus$12,354 (near US$3,703-US$6,980) per person, depending on group size.
