Private Charter Company Complements Service with Packages

SAN ANTONIO -- Dallas-Fort Worth is the newest U.S. gateway to Roatan in the Honduras Bays Islands for Honduran-based carrier Sol Air.
Nonstop flights will operate Saturdays only, with departures from Dallas at 1:30 p.m. on Boeing 733 aircraft.
Roatan Charter is complementing the service with packages using a number of Roatan resorts and hotels for divers and beach-lovers.
The company is offering a seven-night scuba-diving package, featuring accommodations at Anthony's Key Resort, Bay Islands Beach Club, CoCo View Resort, Fantasy Island and Roatan Yacht and Dive Club.
Priced from $799 per person, double, the program includes accommodations, meals, diving and air from Dallas.
The seven-night, air-inclusive beach packages start at under $500. The properties featured are the Half Moon Bay Cabins, the Mermaid Beach Resort, the Paradise Beach Villas and the Roatan Yacht & Dive Club.
Sol Air has been flying between the U.S. and Honduras since July, operating nonstop flights daily between Miami and San Pedro Sula, continuing to Tegucigalpa. It also offers daily flights nonstop from Miami to Managua, Nicaragua, with continuing service to Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula.
