Private Charter Company Installs CTT's Zonal Drying System on Boeing Fleet Author: Originated from Airline Industry Information
German-based charter airline, Air-Berlin has reportedly ordered CTT's Zonal Drying system for its 26 Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The airline decided to implement the system - which combats condensation in the thermal and acoustic insulation of modern passenger aircraft - after conducting a successful evaluation in one of its 737-800 aircraft this spring.
The Zonal Drying System reportedly reduces maintenance costs by extending the service life of the aircraft insulation; reduces fuel usage by cutting non-revenue weight; and helps to reduce corrosion and the risk of electrical faults.
Air-Berlin is scheduled to begin installing the system from Autumn 2002. Related Articles
