Agents Receiving Up to 5% In Some Private Charter Companies

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Agents can earn 5% commission on bookings for a new air service that links West Palm Beach, Fla., and Freeport, Bahamas.
The flights, operated Fridays and Sundays by charter carrier Sapphire Aviation, represent the first direct, roundtrip service between the two points, according to Bill Reardon, marketing director.
The roundtrip fare is $190 per person, based on a minimum of four passengers.
Sapphire Aviation operates two six-passenger Aero Commanders and a seven-passenger Cessna 402B.
The carrier also plans a route linking West Palm Beach with Marsh Harbour and Treasure Cay in the Out Islands.
No startup date has been set, Reardon said.
The firm's current schedule includes daily service between West Palm Beach and Great Harbour Cay in the Berry Islands.
